Re: Intel® NUC Kit D34010WYK Power Button

Hi,

My power button also started to work after the bios update although I am not sure when really it occurred. It looks like it did not work right after the update (I did a check specially) but after a day of use it I pushed it without much hope but it successfully woke my device! Now it starts the device both from S3 and S5 states.

I can also add that CIR now works right out of the box under Linux, it is not necessary to reload the driver due to a resource conflict. The only problem that remained for me is the inability to start the device with the remote. This feature still does not work and I cannot even see CIR in /proc/acpi/wakeup. It looks like bios still give some incorrect info about CIR to the operating system.

Now I am planning to use the trick with a temporary installation of Windows to check if it really helps.
