Force widi to use 5 GHz

Hi,

is there a way for force intel widi to use the 5 GHz band for connection to an adapter? The reason is I am planning to use more than one widi adapter in a room and I want to avoid collisions in the wireless network. I am planning to use Intel WiDi without an access point.

It seems that any settings for the wireless card in control panel (like preferred band = 5 GHz band, Mode 802.11a, etc.) do not have any effect for the widi connection. It seems it is still using 2.4 GHz.

Or is Intel widi automatically using both band 2.4 GHz and 5GHz via 802.11n?

If this is the case, can the channel that Widi uses for 2.4 GHz be configured static? The same seem to apply here that setting for preferred channel in the properties for the wireless card do not have any effect on what channel WiDi does actually use.

I would highly appreciate if someone can enlight me about the WiDi behaviour regarding use of band and channel.

Thank you
