Hi - I am also having similar issues
NUC D54250WYK, Core I5, 4GB RAM, 120GB SSD
Windows 7 Windows Media Center, PowerDVD 12 Ultra
Optoma HD33 3D projector with attached VESA 3D emitter
Just purchased a NUC D54250WYK to replace an ASrock Vision 3D 137b. The only issue with the ASRock was some juddering on Bluray playback. I read that this had been resolved with the latest Haswell processors so I invested in a NUC D54250WYK. I downloaded the latest BIOS & drivers for the NUC & setup the system over the weekend. Regular Blu-rays play perfectly & I was delighted but then I could not get 3D Blu-rays to play & I cannot find any 3D test software within the Intel Graphics Control panel similar to that provided by Nvidia in the ASRock to check if the GPU is correctly outputting a 3D image.
Any assistance in resolving this issue would be appreciated.
Update 29 July 2014 - downloaded PowerDVD 14 Ultra 30 day trial - managed to display Avatar menu screen in 3D but when selected to play movie in 3D projector returned to 2D mode. Sometime on a Windows restart the screen does not display any images & remains black.
Update 31 July 2014 - Installed the full version of PowerDvd 14 Ultra as 30 day trial apparently has limitations on 3d Bluray playback. 3D Blurays now play correctly. To enable this within PowerDvd 14 you have to select the 3D display as HDMI 1.4 display rather then leave it set as Autodetect. I tested four 3D Blurays playing about 10 minutes of each. They played without any problems with both DTS MA & Dolby TrueHD soundtracks tested. I then tested a 2D Bluray & video artifacts & screen breakup are visible. I am running exactly the same software setup on an ASRock Vision 3D 137B & the video playback is perfect. So an issue exists with the NUC. Will update if I find a solution or would appreciate help or recommendations.
